Corpland Content

Ventures and your team

Run one or several channels under a venture and share the work with the people who make it with you.

What a venture holds

Everything you make in Corpland Content belongs to a venture: its channels, your voices, the media library, the team and the credit balance. A venture is a brand or a team.

Channels

A venture can run several channels, and all of them spend from the venture's one credit balance. Run a second show, or the same show in another language, as a second channel: it keeps its own profile, references, feeds, hour, topics, scripts, voiceovers, videos and thumbnails, while the team, the voices, the media library and the card stay with the venture.

The strip at the top of the page lists the channels. Click a tab to switch, or press Alt and a number (Option on a Mac). New channel at the end of the strip asks for a name, a colour and what the show is about, then takes you through the short setup for it. The chevron on the current tab renames it, recolours it, opens its settings or deletes it. The first channel cannot be deleted; delete the venture in Corpland ID instead.

Invite people

Ventures and their members are managed in Corpland ID, so the same team works across every Corpland product. Open the venture menu in the sidebar and choose Members and invites. It opens the venture in Corpland ID, where an owner or admin can invite people by email.

Switch ventures

Pick another venture from the venture menu. The page reloads with that venture's channels and balance.

Switching channels

Switching channels inside a venture never reloads: the page slides to the other show and every list refetches.

Free credits

The free plan's credits are granted once per person, to the first venture they own. A second venture starts with no credits and picks a plan.

Leaving

Leave a venture from its page in Corpland ID. The last owner has to transfer ownership first.
