Videos

From a voiceover to a draft video with every picture already found, then to an MP4 for YouTube.

Pick a playbook

Open Videos and press New video. A playbook is one niche's whole look, built by our team the way the top channels in that niche cut their videos. We add playbooks one niche at a time, each tuned by hand rather than guessed by a model.

Meme Commentary is the first one: a 16:9 YouTube video for any niche that rants or explains with memes (tech, money, careers, culture, sport) on a near black frame, with receipts (headlines, charts, product shots), reaction memes found on Pinterest, and short text that pops on the exact word it belongs to. Nothing stays on screen longer than three seconds.

Start a video

Pick the voice: a finished voiceover from the Voiceovers tab, or a recording of your own (up to 100 minutes and 100 MB). If the voice reads one of your finished scripts, link it so the script's sources go on screen as receipts.

The pipeline then:

  1. Transcribes the audio with a timing for every word.
  2. Cuts it into beats of at most three seconds.
  3. Checks the claims it hears against the news and screenshots the sources.
  4. Decides what each beat shows: a fact, a reaction, a caption or pop text.
  5. Searches Pinterest for every reaction meme and the web for everything else, and keeps several candidates.

Progress shows live. Most drafts are ready in a minute or two.

Fix the draft

Every picture arrives with other candidates and a search box, one click from the preview. A reaction meme also has Search Pinterest and Search the web beside its picks. You can change a picture, the text, the layout of a beat and the title. A beat with no picture is flagged, never filled with something random. To cut it further, open it in the editor.

Export

Export renders in your browser, so nothing waits in a queue. You get a 1920 by 1080 MP4 at 30 frames a second. It needs a recent Chrome or Edge on a computer.

Limits and credits

10 videos a venture a day. A video costs credits per started minute of voiceover, and each new picture search costs one credit.
