Voiceovers
Clone a voice once, then have any script or pasted text read in it. A venture can hold several voices.
Add a voice
Open Voiceovers and add a voice. Give it a name, then a sample in one of three ways: an earlier voiceover, an uploaded file, or a recording made in the browser. Tick the consent box and save. Any common audio file works; we keep the first 2 minutes, which is all the clone listens to. Cloning costs credits each time a sample is added or replaced, and a venture can clone three times a day.
Voices belong to the venture, so a second host clones once and every member can read scripts in that voice. One voice is the default for reads; set it under Settings, Voiceovers.
Read a script
Choose Read it on a script, or paste any text. The dialog reads in the default voice; when the venture has more than one voice, choose another from Read in before you start. It is read one take per paragraph, at one steady pace, with the same pause after each paragraph.
Fix a line
Any paragraph can be said again. When a word comes out wrong, respell it the way it sounds and retake that paragraph. Earlier takes are kept so you can go back. Retakes use the voice the voiceover was first read in.
Manage voices
Your voices on the Voiceovers page lists every voice in the venture with who added it. Open one to rename it, replace its sample, make it the default, or delete it. Deleting a voice does not touch voiceovers already read in it.
Voice engines
Under Settings, Voiceovers, choose between MiniMax (the default), Zonos and Chatterbox. Room tone adds a quiet background so the read does not sound sealed.
Limits
10 voiceovers and 60 retakes a venture a day, 3 clones a venture a day. Voiceovers and retakes cost credits per thousand characters read.
